4.117 Creative Computation ()(Subject meets with 4.118)Prereq: Permission of instructorUnits arranged Lecture: W2-5 (3-442) +finalDedicated to bridging the gap between the virtual and physical world, the subject embraces modes of computation that hold resonance with materials and methods that beg to be computed. Students engage in bi-weekly exercises to solve complex design problems. Each exercise is dedicated to a different computation approach (recursion, parametric, genetic algorithms, particle-spring systems, etc.) that is married to a physical challenge, thereby learning the advantages and disadvantages to each approach while verifying the results in physical and digitally fabricated prototypes. Through the tools of computation and fabrication, it empowers students to design as architects, engineers and craftspeople. Additional work required of student taking for graduate credit. Enrollment limited; preference to MArch students.StaffNo required or recommended textbooks

Yes, that should be no problem. I used to have WL7 in both versions on my Win7 PC, and uninstalled the 32-bit version to just have WL6-32, WL7-64 and WL8-64 - I have no reason anymore to hold on to WL7 so I might just uninstall that too.
Well I got it to work with banshee. But heres a question.. I can import it with banshee and it works and everything.. but with Songbird, only thing i can do is import the songs, I cant do my artwork and they wont play.. Now using a simple Syllogism..Songbird uses GstreamerBanshe plays itunes music and uses GstreamerSongbird plays itunes musicThis should hold true.. but it doesnt.. if i go into about:gstreamer in songbird it doesnt show support for aac.
