As many have experienced it can be frustrating when a Mac version of an app does not exist. This came up recently for a class I am teaching and wanted to see of Cross Over could help. The following list of software includes popular campus applications utilized by students and other academic constituents. Although it is recommended students download and install the following applications on their own computing devices, the new Virtual Software Lab service is also available as an alternative option in accessing student software if necessary. The following software is available for students to download and install on their personal computers. The campus cannot provide support for the installation or operation of the following software on personal equipment. Please contact your own computer support contacts or technical support businesses for personal computer assistance. This page provides information about installing UD-licensed software on personally-owned devices for currently enrolled students, faculty and staff. If you have trouble downloading software, you can also access many of these applications by connecting to UD's Academic VDI.
A variety of software for UD-owned devices is available through the Ivanti Portal Manager. Contact the IT Service Center or your unit IT support team for assistance with downloads on your UD-owned computer.
NI Circuit Design Suite combines Multisim 14.3 and Ultiboard software, to offer students a complete set of tools for circuit design, simulation, validation, and layout. The Circuit Design Suite software download helps you design circuits using intuitive and cost-effective tools.

Faculty and staff can download and install many of the titles listed below on NJIT-owned computers on their own. Certain software licenses also permit installation and use on personally-owned devices. Other titles can only be installed upon request to the IST Service Desk.

LTspice is a high performance SPICE simulation software, schematic capture and waveform viewer with enhancements and models for easing the simulation of analog circuits. Included in the download of LTspice are macromodels for a majority of Analog Devices switching regulators, amplifiers, as well as a library of devices for general circuit simulation.

Other software can be purchased and downloaded by logging in to myCharger. Once logged in to myCharger, click on the "Information Technology" tab, "IT Info for Students" and then "Purchase Software". You will be redirected to the software webstore.
The following software can be purchased for a fee: Windows 7 (upgrade only), Windows 8 (upgrade only), Visual Studio. Macintosh users who have downloaded their free copy of Office may purchase the Windows version to run in Parallels or virtually on the Mac. Other software is available too, prices vary by the software package.
You will then have an option for Software, click on Software (Install and manage software), and then you can click on Install; which will begin downloading the Software Installer for your Operating System. If you are on a Mac, the Mac version will download, if you are on Windows, the Windows version will download (see below).
1. You MUST be on-campus to receive the software electronically (via Download). This means you need to be on the "Student" wireless network or physically connected to the network in your room. The download will not work from off-campus housing facilities.
3. Your download will begin, the file will be saved on your Mac under Downloads. When the download is complete, you will see a new folder under Downloads named "Office 2008 for Mac" - open that folder and run "Office Installer". You may be prompted to install Rosetta. Follow the steps to install and when the Rosetta install completes, re-run the "Office Installer".
This will start the downloading of the file: NI_Circuit_Design_Suite_14_1_Education.zip file into your Downloads folder. The file is about 770 Mbytes and will take about 20 minutes if you have high speed internet.

The advanced data mining software programs SAS Enterprise Miner for Desktop and SAS Text Miner for Desktop are now available to faculty, students, and staff using imaged PC devices. The software is also available for download.
Version 11 of NVivo, a qualitative data analysis computer software tool, is now available. NVivo 11 has been updated in the ITS image for all university-owned imaged machines, in AppCloud, in Remote Apps, and in software downloads for faculty, staff, and students.
For faculty, students, and staff, ITS Mac and Windows image and software downloads have been upgraded to EndNote version 9. EndNote is a commercial reference management software package, used to manage bibliographies and references when writing essays and articles.

Once the Multisim Circuit Explorer is shown in the iTunes listing of your iOS device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the GET button to the right of the app to start downloading it.
If you are not logged-in the iOS appstore app, you'll be prompted for your your Apple ID and/or password.
After Multisim Circuit Explorer is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
